Fitting your SoftPod 1.0

  1. Remove existing plastic side pods including large retaining washer and bolt at the back of the subframe. Keep the M5 bolt and leave the threaded clip in place as this will be used to secure the SoftPods.

  2. Remove SoftPods from packaging including supplied fixing kit. The fixing kit should contain 2 x Plastic push fittings.

  3. Unzip the right side SoftPod and place the plastic push fitting through the front top hole from the inside. This might be a little fiddly so it’s easier if you slide your hand in flat with the push fitting between your fingers, and apply pressure to push through the hole from the outside once lined up. This will then form the fixing point for the front of the SoftPod.

  4. Once you have the front push fixings in place, you are ready to fix to the bike. Line the push fixing up with the existing hole for the OEM panels and push to attach the front corner. Hold the SoftPod in position and feed the velcro straps around the subframe but only fix loosely.

  5. Now take the M5 Torx bolt and push through the hole from the inside of the SoftPod and line up with the threaded clip on the subframe. Tighten this to fix the SoftPod in place.

  6. Once the rear fixing is tightened the velcro straps can now be tighten.

  7. When fixing the left SoftPod - follow the same process as the right side. You will need to remove the 2 fixings holding the seat lock in place in order to get the front velcro fixing in. The seat lock can then be replaced after and the velcro left in place if you remove the soft pods to clean.

Its as simple as that, but if you are having any issues let us know.
